Hello, My name is Shane Wheeler, and welcome to my online portfolio. Within it you will see samples of my artwork. I will update my site frequently, so visit often.

I’ve always had the unquenchable desire to create stories and illustrations, which came from my love of comics. This followed me to college where I majored in visual communications. While learning the different applications of art, I discovered graphic design. I enjoyed it more because it utilized many skills I learned trying to get into the comic industry. I decided I wanted to focus more on graphics, so I transferred my credits to a specialized school for graphic design. After graduating, I spent 4 years in graphics, and decided to go back to school to learn computer animation.

I obviously made the right choice, because I absolutely love it. While attending Full Sail Real World Education I learned that the CG industry is where I belong. It will utilize all of my talents that I’ve spent years learning. My main focus has been modeling and texturing. While on my CG tour of duty, I will look, learn, and listen to industry professionals, because no matter how much you think you know you can never stop learning. I have a positive attitude and love what I do.
